1. The department website, https://www.chdeducation.gov.in/, has the full advertising and information.

   When completing the online application form, the applicant must include all necessary information. Following online application registration, an application number and password will be produced and sent via email AND/OR SMS. To keep track of the progress of your application in the future, print out the screen including your application number and password.
   Any application form that is not complete will be automatically rejected.
   Once the application has been submitted in its final form, the Department will not accept requests to modify any specific fields on the form.
   The Chandigarh Administration’s Education Department will not accept offline application forms or copies of downloaded forms.
   Only once the money has been paid via the recruitment portal will the application be submitted in its final form (if applicable).
   Admit cards for the written exam will be sent to all applicants who submit their completed online applications (including a picture, thumb imprint, and scanned signature) before the deadline and with the required payment. Eligibility requirements will not need to be verified.Following the release of the written exam results, the candidate’s eligibility will be verified in accordance with the information provided under the selection process. The mere act of taking the written exam does not provide the applicant any appointment rights.
   Subject to meeting eligibility requirements, selection will be determined only on the basis of merit in the written exam; a candidate’s mere participation in the test does not provide them any appointment rights. As a result, applicants are encouraged to confirm that they meet the requirements for the position for which they are applying.
   The candidate will only be taken into consideration for the category in which they have applied. It is not permissible to modify your category after submitting your application.
   The Education Department’s decision is final and enforceable against the applicants in all respects, including the acceptance or rejection of applications, the eligibility and fitness of candidates, the method and criteria for selection, etc. Regarding this, no messages or questions will be answered.
   If, during the verification process, which begins with the application form submission and ends with the appointment, it is discovered that the candidate does not meet any eligibility requirements or that the information provided is inaccurate or false, their candidature will be canceled, and they may face criminal prosecution. This is regardless of whether the applicant benefited from providing false or inaccurate information in their application.
   If, at a later time, it is discovered that a candidate provided false information, even after they have been appointed, they risk legal action.
   At any point during the recruitment process, the Department retains the right to personally meet with any candidate in addition to providing a printed copy of the application form, original certificates, a photocopy of the self-attested certificates, a photo, and identification proof (such as a voter card, passport, driving license, identity card, Pan Card, or Aadhaar card).
   Every step of the hiring procedure will need a physical copy of the admission card in the proper format, complete with a current passport-size picture attached, as well as an original physical copy of the identification document.
   The Chandigarh Education Department has the right, at any time and for any cause, to postpone, cancel, or delay the selection process.
   To download your admissions card, log in using your application number and password. When the admission cards become available for download from the website (https://www.chdeducation.gov.in/), candidates will be notified by email AND/OR SMS.
   Within a day of the test being conducted, the question paper and answer key will be uploaded on the Internet in order to solicit any complaints from the applicants. Within three days of the answer key being shown, you may submit your objections by checking in with your login ID and password and selecting the “Objections” page. Within two weeks after the test day, the final key will be posted on the Internet after taking into account any objections and any required modifications.The final result will be prepared using this key.
   It is recommended that candidates stay updated about this recruitment process by regularly visiting or monitoring the Directorate of School Education, Chandigarh Administration’s official website, https://chdeducation.gov.in.

9. No request for change of examination centre will be entertained.
10. After submission of online application, registration/application form will be generated. Candidate has to take out two printouts of the registration/application form and the same has to be brought on the date of verification of documents (if name exists in Merit list) along with original and photo copy of all documents. Print out of online application is NOT to be submitted either personally or through post.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. The number of vacancies advertised may vary as per requirement.
2. The candidates applying for the posts of TGT(Masters/Mistresses) should ensure that they fulfil the eligibility conditions as per details mentioned in the advertisement. Their candidature will be provisional at all the stages of recruitment process i.e. acceptance of online applications, issue of admit cards and scrutiny of original documents. Eligibility status will be uploaded on the website in respect of those candidates who are called for scrutiny of original documents.
3. Mere issue of Admit Card or appearing in the written test or scrutiny of original documents does not imply that candidate is eligible for the post of TGT(Masters/Mistresses). In case, any information is found wrong at any stage even after joining, the candidature will be cancelled without any notice.
4. Wherever the evaluation is in terms of grades, the candidate must attach the conversion scale. For equivalent qualifications, equivalence certificate issued on or before the closing date is to be submitted at the time of scrutiny of original documents.
5. Documents for claiming benefit of reserved category should be obtained from competent authority not less than Deputy Commissioner / Additional Deputy Commissioner/SDM/District Sainik Welfare Board/ Chief Medical Officer.
6. Education Department, Chandigarh reserves the right to cancel or modify the advertisement or part of it at any stage. The number of vacancies is provisional and subject to change.
7. Education Department, Chandigarh reserves the right to cancel entire process of examination due to the administrative reasons(s) and in case of unfair means, cheating or other irregularities/malpractice noticed by Education Department, Chandigarh. The department also reserves the right to cancel or set up a new examination centre and direct the candidates to appear at that examination centre if required.
8. The candidates are advised to ensure that photograph affixed by them on the application form is latest. It is also to be ensured that signatures have been affixed at appropriate place.
9. The decision of Education Department, Chandigarh about the mode of selection to the post and eligibility conditions of applicant shall be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. The number of posts to be filled up may vary at any stage.
